The Optical Coupling GJS-1D 48 is designed to protect splicing points of optical cables in backbone communication networks. This dead-end type coupling is suitable for spur or branching connections, providing robust performance and reliable fiber protection.

Cable Entries: Supports up to four cable entries for Ø16 mm cables.

 

Splice Capacity: Each of the four splice cassettes holds 6 to 12 splices in two layers, accommodating a maximum of 48 welds.

 

Dimensions: Measures Ø178×288 mm, offering ample space for fiber organization.

 

Operating Temperature: Functions reliably from -40°C to +65°C.

Design and Construction:

The GJS-1D coupling features a mechanical locking system with two hoops and a locking bolt, simplifying assembly and providing secure access during maintenance or repairs. The polycarbonate housing and sealing gasket ensure long-term durability and optimal performance.
